Gila Cliff Dwellings - New Mexico

Today was a planned day off the road for the cyclists--sort of.  We spent a lot of time driving on very narrow curvy roads getting to and from the Gila Cliff Dwellings.  However, it was worth the drive and the hike in the rain and muddy trails to see the cliff dwellings.

The Gila Cliff Dwellings is one of the few sites in the country that allow visitors the experience of stepping into the cave.  It was a wonderful experience.

So, tomorrow it's on the road again.  By the way, I really enjoy driving Paul C.'s Tacoma.  Not only is it easy to drive despite all the gear I am driving around, it is a very photogenic vehicle.
