23 Oct 2018 - Del Rio, Texas. This morning I drove the cyclists back to
Landry and met then for lunch at the J&P Bar and Grill in Comstock. Yes,
the same establishment where we dined last night and across the street from the
motel where we stayed last night. Do you
think the cyclists are a little soggy in the brain?? Regardless, I am along for
the grand experience and, hopefully, a little sunshine in the next day or two.
Today I took a short drive
through Seminole Canyon to get a better look at the Pecos River. I am surprised that this river isn’t full of
as much rain as this area has had since September.
Given the 85% prediction of rain
for tomorrow, we are taking the day off. I don’t know what is on the agenda. However, there is there is always something interesting to learn about Texas.
