Day 26 Uvale Texas to Lost Maples Park, Texas

Day 26.  This was a great day to celebrate my 66th birthday - a ride of 75.1 miles and a climb of 4,832 feet.  It was our day through Texas Hill Country!  We certainly saw the hills.
Here is the shot going north out of Uvalde - flat

Here is what it looks like about 30 miles later in the Texas Hill Country - hilly!

So, it is easy to shop here in Uvalde - the signs are simple!

One thing we have seen is how big and fancy the ranch gates are!  They are simply amazing, and all electrically operated by the way.

Here is what the flooding looks like.

The streets in Uvlade show some neat old houses, and they value trees so much they let them grow in the street.

Oh, I always wanted to find out what was real - and I found it!! (The 75 MPH limit is in town only!).
Tonight Dana and Gayle made a birthday dinner - shish-kabob!!  Fantastic an I slept the best ever.
I was not able to send this from the park, so it is a day late but memories just as good!
