A Stoker's Perspective

Riding on the back of the tandem (our RV) has lots of flexibility. I can look around at the scenery, take photos, sing, carry on a conversation, and make sandwiches for my Captain (well, maybe just hand him a granola bar). Being a stoker offers a unique perspective.

The scenery of wide open spaces.

Looking back at Paul C catching up to us. He is always ahead of us on the uphill, but we pass him going downhill.

Arched bridge at Roosevelt Lake.

Paul C getting in close to be able to join in the conversation.

A forest of beautiful Saguaro cacti.

Riding a tandem is great fun - and, yes, I do pedal back there, too!
